Where can I purchase macrame cord for friendship bracelets?

I want to make a lot of friendship bracelets (for a party) and I need large spools of macrame cord or whatever string you use to make them. I looked in Walmart and Michaels and couldn't find it! Any ideas on stores I can go to? (No sites please, I don't have time to wait for shipping) Thanks!
