Spanish help, who's right?

On the chalkboard in my Spanish class it read "No me gustas (I don't like you)". I asked my teacher about it since I was pretty sure it translated to "You don't like me". But she said that "You don't like me" translates to "No te gusto" or something similar to that, sorry I forgot what she said. But I've never heard anyone in my family or any Hispanic for that matter say "No me gustas" when they're saying "I don't like you". Sorry, I can't just let it go.lol.
